The purpose of this training curriculum is to provide immunization education to students training as medical assistants through lecture and exercises to promote best practices and develop competency in immunization delivery.

The goals of this course are:

• To teach recognized standards and recommendations that promote best immunization practices;
• To improve the immunization knowledge and skills of MAs through competency and performance-based evaluation.
