The Utah Adult Immunization Coalition was formed in 1999 to improve immunization rates in adults 18 years of age and older.

Various groups support the efforts of the Utah Immunization Program to increase vaccination levels in all ages. These include such groups as statewide and regional immunization coalitions, Utah Scientific Vaccine Advisory Committee, school nurses, local public health departments, community health centers, the Utah Statewide Immunization Information System (USIIS) and physician groups such as the Utah Medical Association and the Utah Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
